Something I haven't told anyone, and perhaps something no one is even curious about... 😊
I'd like to talk about the background of why I created this site.
Branding
Personally, I believe people should know how to brand themselves.
For example,
Jordan makes people think of Nike
G-Dragon makes people think of Fashion
Iron Man makes people think of Marvel
In this way, people naturally connect specific images when they recall someone.
So, what comes to mind when you think of me??
Honestly, I'm not quite sure yet. And I believe I'm in the process of finding that.
The reason I created this site is ultimately part of that process.
I needed a space for myself, and I thought I could build my own branding by organizing and documenting my thoughts and experiences.
I wanted this website to be a place where, upon seeing it, people would naturally think, \"Ah, this person thinks this way and values these things.\"
As a developer
I haven't attempted many side projects, but I have tried a few times.
However, for various reasons, I often couldn't complete them.
- My interest shifted to other things over time,
- or priorities were pushed back due to a busy schedule,
- or even if completed, maintenance didn't follow through.
In fact, completing a project is not easy, but I realized that the process afterward is even more difficult.
Refactoring and continuously improving a service was harder than I thought.
Then, it suddenly occurred to me.
\"If it's hard to gather users, why don't I become the first user?\"
If it's a service I use every day,
I would naturally maintain it,
I would grow fond of it,
and I would probably refactor it regularly, wouldn't I?
This realization ultimately became the biggest reason I wanted to create this site and continuously improve it.
Developing Alone, My Own Space
This is my space, and it's a service I develop alone.
Because of this, I was free to try whatever I wanted.
Technology stack I wanted to apply
UI I wanted to challenge
Requirements I decided after careful consideration
Developing alone was freeing, but there were many moments of helplessness.
- There were many times I was vague about what to implement,
- I revamped the design several times,
- and I rewrote the code repeatedly.
- Technically, there were many moments when I questioned if this was the right way to apply things.
Nevertheless, I was able to continuously maintain and improve it because,
most importantly, this site was necessary for me.
I created it for myself, which is why I'm more attached to it and continue to work on it, even if slowly.
Things I've personally experienced, places I've been, photos I've taken, places I liked
I truly love this space where I can freely record all of these things.
Future Directions
Although I've created the first deliverable, there are still many areas for improvement.
To further develop it, I want to do more of these things in the future.
✅ Rendering Optimization
✅ Dark Mode Support
✅ Notification & Chat Features
✅ Fun elements like quizzes for myself
Also, I want to continuously provide high-quality articles and helpful information.
Please keep an eye on how this site evolves in the future,
and if you leave your feedback in the guestbook, it would be a huge encouragement. 😊
